Can I reapply immediately after my visa application was rejected?

No, if your visa application to Japan has been rejected, you cannot immediately reapply if the purpose of your visit remains unchanged. The Japan immigration authorities typically do not consider new applications for the same visit reason within six months of the initial rejection. This policy is based on the rationale that the applicant's situation is unlikely to alter significantly overnight, leading to a repeat of the initial outcome. However, exceptions are made for re-applications within this six-month period if there have been substantial changes in your circumstances or if there are compelling humanitarian reasons necessitating your travel to Japan. It's advisable to consult with the Japanese Embassy or Consulate where you intend to reapply to understand your options better.
