If you're applying for a visa at a Visa Application Centre in India outside of New Delhi, make sure to add an additional 10-15 days to the usual processing time.

Reasons for Greece Visa Rejections

  1. Submitting fraudulent documents: Some applicants try to deceive authorities by providing fake documents instead of genuine ones requested by the consular office.
  2. Misrepresentation of the purpose of the trip: If your travel plans don't match the information provided, such as accommodation or flight details, your visa could be rejected.
  3. Suspected ulterior motives: If authorities suspect your intentions for visiting Greece are not genuine, such as being considered a threat to the state, your visa may be denied.
  4. Inadequate travel history: Having insufficient travel history, especially for the type of visa being applied for, could lead to visa rejection.
  5. Damaged passport: Presenting a passport that is in poor condition, such as being torn or having missing pages, may result in visa denial.

In conclusion, obtaining a Greece visa for Indian Citizens involves a straightforward process, whether through Teleport or the government website.  Ensuring all required documents are in order and providing accurate information is key to a successful application.
