Make sure to pay the application fee at the time of submission. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, regardless of the application's outcome or if you decide to withdraw it post-submission.


Step 3: Document Submission

Send all required documents to the Authorised Visa Agents via courier. You can find the addresses of these agents at the government website, where you can courier your documents.


Step 4: Track Your Application

After applying for a visa through an authorised agent and obtaining your application reference number, you can easily monitor your application status and print your e-Visa by following these simple steps:


  1. Visit the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website at www.ica.gov.sg.
  2. Scroll down to the 'e-Services and Forms' section on the ICA homepage and click on 'Apply Entry Visa (Time needed: 15-20 mins).'
  3. Click on 'Enquiry Application Status.'
  4. Enter your Visa Reference Number and Applicant's Travel Document Number.
  5. If your application is approved, click on 'Print e-visa' to obtain a copy of your e-Visa.

Please note that the visa application reference number is generated on the acknowledgment page upon successful submission.


If you have already received a valid visa but are unable to locate your e-Visa copy, you can follow the same steps above to print it. Alternatively, you can contact the Authorised Visa Agent through whom you applied for assistance.


Step 5: Processing Time

Visa application will take up to 3 working days (excluding the submission day) if all your documents are in order.

The Authorised Visa Agents through which you submitted your application will notify you of your application's status. You can also track the status of your application online using your reference number and passport details.

Apply Through a Singapore Resident or Local Contact in Singapore

When applying for a visa for Singapore, you have the choice to submit your application online via a strategic partner or a local contact in Singapore possessing a valid SingPass.


Ensure your local contact possesses a Singpass ID and password ready. If they do not have one, they can register for Singpass on the official website.

Note

The local contact must be a Singapore citizen (SC) or a permanent resident (PR) aged at least 21 years old. For business visit visa applications, if you are attending business negotiations or discussions, the local contact must represent a Singapore-registered business. In case you cannot find a local contact, Letters of Introduction (LOIs) from your Embassy/High Commission may be acceptable to support your visa application for both social and business visits.

Step 1: Initiate Your Visa Application

Visit the Entry Visa application portal and log in using your Singpass ID and password, or scan the QR code with the Singpass app.


Step 2: Draft Applications

  1. Save draft applications for later editing or submission.
  2. You can save up to seven applications.

  4. To start a new application, click on "Create New Application".

Step 3: Submitting Applicant's Details

  1. Enter the applicant's particulars.
  2. Save the page by clicking "Save".

Enter any additional details about the applicant. If the applicant's Visa Type Group is "SOCIAL", provide the Local Contact's details.


Step 5: Uploading Applicant Photo

Upload the applicant's photo by clicking "Browse" and then "Next".


Step 6: Application Preview

  1. Read and agree to the declaration by selecting the checkbox.
  2. Click "Submit" to confirm the application.
  3. Proceed to the payment selection page.

Step 7: Payment Summary

Choose your payment method and download or print the Tax Invoice/Receipt for your records. After successful application and payment, save the acknowledgement page as a PDF. You'll need the Visa reference number for future reference.

Indian nationals travelling to or from a third country through Singapore by air may qualify for the 96-hour Visa Free Transit Facility (VFTF) and do not require a transit visa only if they meet the following requirements:


  1. Entry into Singapore by any mode of transport but departure must be via air or sea.
  2. Hold a valid onward air/ferry/cruise ticket departing Singapore within 96 hours.

This service is only applicable for visit passes issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and can be used for extensions of up to 30 days or up to 89 days (for immediate family members of Singapore citizens or permanent residents). 


You'll receive an email notification regarding the outcome of your extension application; no physical endorsement is necessary for approved applications submitted online.


Required Documents for Online Application:

  • Valid travel document (e.g., passport) and
  • Disembarkation/Embarkation (D/E) number from your SG Arrival Card.
  • If you're visiting Singapore and have immediate family who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, you might need to provide original documents to prove your relationship.
  • If you're extending your stay for medical treatment, you'll need to fill out FormV75, which must be signed by a registered doctor in Singapore. This form should include details about your illness and the duration of stay needed for treatment.

Fees: 

Upon approval, you may need to pay a non-refundable extension fee of S$40 if your stay exceeds 90 days from the entry date, plus a visa fee of S$30 for visa-required visitors who overstayed their visa-free period. 


Processing Time:

The extension of Visit Pass will be processed within three working days.

You can check your extension application status online using your travel document number and D/E number or travel document expiry date.
