To check your Canada visa status you will need some specific information to access your file. Here’s what you’ll need:
You must have your application number, passport number, as well as other personal information for verification.
Once you’ve submitted your application or passport at a Canada Visa Application Centre and received an acknowledgement receipt with a tracking number, you can use the ‘Track your application’ service on VFS Global website. This service will tell you where your application or passport is but will not give you information on the stages of processing.

Step 1: Visit Tracking Portal: Go to the tracking visa application Canada on VFS Global Visa Application Centre’s website.
Step 2: Enter Your Details: Enter your Tracking ID and DOB details. Make sure to enter the DOB in YYYY-MM-DD format.
Step 3: Submit: Click submit to view the status of your application or passport.
Step 4: View Status: The page will show you the current location and status of your application. This may not be the exact stage of processing but will tell you where your documents are.
