Can Indians get a Turkey Visa on Arrival?

Turkey does not provide visa on arrival to Indian citizens. To visit Turkey, you must obtain either a Turkey sticker or Evisa in advance.

Turkey Visa Requirements

Indians who are eligible for the Turkey e-Visa need to provide only two documents:

  1. Passport Bio and Back Page: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of travel.
  2. Valid Visa or Permits: A valid visa or residence permit from the US, UK, Schengen countries, or Ireland is required.

For those not eligible for the e-Visa, a Turkey sticker visa is required. Here are the necessary documents:

  1. Visa Appointment Letter: Bring this document on your appointment date.
  2. Visa Application Form: Complete the form by hand using a blue or black pen in capital letters.
  3. Original Passport: Your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond your travel date and have at least two blank pages.
  4. Passport Scanned Copy: Submit scanned copies of both the front and back pages of your passport, along with scans of any valid visas for the US, UK, or Schengen countries.
  5. Original Previous Passport: Provide your previous passport if the current one was issued after 2015. If your passport is lost, include a copy of the FIR (specific to applications from the Hyderabad jurisdiction).
  6. Two Photographs: Ensure a pristine white background, taken within the last six months, showing visible hair and ears. The photo size should be 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches.
