Step 1: Choose Your Citizenship and Purpose for Visiting
Begin by indicating your country of citizenship and the main reason for your trip, like sightseeing or business. If you have travel insurance that's currently valid, tick the given box to confirm; if not, you have the option to acquire insurance at this stage. After this, proceed to input your travel details in the following step.
Step 2: Enter Your Travel Dates
Select the date you plan to travel to Georgia. The portal will then show you how long you can stay based on your visa type. Please read all the terms and conditions thoroughly before moving on to fill out your application form.
Step 3: Complete the Application Form
Provide your personal information on the application form and upload the necessary documentation, such as a scan of your passport, in a unified PDF document. This step is crucial for the seamless processing of your visa.
Step 4: Visa Fee Payment
The visa fee can be paid online using either a debit or credit card. Once the payment is made, you may submit your visa application.
Step 5: Application Verification
Subsequent to the application submission, you need to complete the DuVerify process. An additional charge of $15 USD applies for each applicant. This step must be completed within 24 hours following the receipt of the DuVerify link via email.
Step 6: Application Tracking
To monitor the status of your eVisa application for Georgia, visit the official government portal, head to the Common Electronic Register of Applications, and input your serial number along with the release date.
Step 7: Receive eVisa
Once you've completed the application, verification, and payment processes, expect to receive your eVisa through email in about 5 to 7 business days.
